Chankanaab National Marine Park is one of those places you have to check out if you are a nature freak. This place is easy to get to as it's about 12 miles from the Yucatan coast. This conservation park is famous for its coral reefs and flora and fauna. Scuba divers would find this place just perfect. You could see a barracuda, angel fish, groupers, a sea turtle or a yellow ray. The best spots are close to the jagged shore. You need some basic snorkeling equipment and some snorkeling experience. You could even try one of the tours with the professional scuba divers; they teach you how to make the most of your underwater experience and give you enough snorkeling tips.
