Want to visit a location whose lowest average temperature is 74°F in winter? That place would be Cozumel, Mexico.
Whether you visit in January or July, the weather is always nice in Cozumel. While there are only few differences in the season's temperatures, there are major differences in the season's tourism.
Mid-December to April
This is the busiest time of year for this island. Tourists flock to this part of the world not only to escape the harsher winter locations, but also because there is no rain and little humidity here.
May through June
May marks the end of Cozumel's dry season and in comes the rain. These are the two hottest and most muggy months of the year, making the city barren of tourists.
July through August
Tourism begins booming again with the arrival of July. The weather is warm, but no longer rainy. Summer guests pour in to enjoy the 80- to 90-degree temperatures with an occasional rain shower.
September and October
The crowds begin to die down and Cozumel becomes less crowded. Average temperatures are the low 80s this time of year and rainy days are few and far between.
November and December
Some would say that this is the ideal time to visit Cozumel, as vacationers are virtually non-existent but it is very dry and temperatures still range from 75° to 80°.
