If Adam and Eve were beach bums, this would be their favorite place to hang. The Paradise Café is a modest establishment located at the tip of Cozumel. Out of the way and secluded, finding the place can prove difficult without good directions or a guide.
Once at the Paradise Café visitors may never want to leave. With an expanse of beach and the unfolding ocean greeting guests the Paradise Café certainly appears remote. This is exactly what the owners were aiming for when they established the business on the eastern coast of Cozumel.
Guests have their choice of outdoor tables right in the sand; most covered with thatch umbrellas, or sitting inside at the bar. The food at Paradise Café is nothing fancy but it is delicious and all the drinks are refreshing. This is an extremely laid back place where Bob Marley seems to always be on the radio. Due to its location and out of the way placement the place is rarely packed with international tourists who prefer the west coast anyways.
Sun bathers are always near by though they tend to cover up while visiting the cafe. Shoes are optional and if you see two pigs running loose do not forget to say hi to Porky and Harley. There are a few hammocks around the café where guests are more then welcomed to catch a nap. Sunbathers and beach walkers hang out in the area and most are known to stay the entire day.
Paradise Café is a great jewel hiding along the eastern coast of Cozumel.
